We are pleased to announce that the blood drive held on March 12th was a huge success!  We were able
to meet our goal of 80 units!  Because of this an HHS student will receive a scholarship from the
American Red Cross.  Thank you to everyone who came out to donate and made this event a success.
Because of you we are able to help others while we keep Jack’s memory alive.  A special thanks to Gayla
Kingfisher who works for American Red Cross and to Dr. Alvin Lievsay who is the one who suggested this
blood drive in Jack’s honor.

In October 2007 we held the first annual “Jack’s Baby Shower” event.  At this event we collected
items and gift cards to donate to the NICU at
Arkansas Children’s Hospital.  The first weekend in
December we delivered the items to
ACH and they were very impressed with the size of our donation!!
Thank you to everyone who made this event a success!!!

In December of 2007 our foundation partnered with Jetride to sponsor a family at Arkansas Children’s
Hospital for the Christmas holiday.  The family that we sponsored was a 4 year old little boy who is
battling Leukemia and his little brother, as well as their mother and another unborn sibling.  Together
with Jetride we raised enough money for the family to purchase a washer and dryer!!!  That’s in addition
to all of the other gifts we delivered!

We’re looking forward to being able to give more and do more!!  Thanks to everyone who made these
events a success!

We are currently in the process of launching a new project called “Love, Jack.”  The Love, Jack
project will be raising money specifically for families who have critically ill babies.  The goal of the Love,
Jack project is to make it so these families don’t have to choose between going back to work and leaving
their baby or not being able to buy gas and pay bills.  If we can help ONE family then we are making a
difference, but with your help we can help more.  Check out the
How You Can Help page to donate.

Additionally, we have Jack Ryan Gillham t-shirts and bracelets available.  You can see them here, here,
and
here.  If you are interested in purchasing a Foundation t-shirt, please contact us at
bethany@jackryangillham.org.  Child small to adult XXL are available.

Since the foundation came into existence in September of 2007, we have donated hundreds of dollars to
Arkansas Children’s Hospital and Ronald McDonald House Charities, as well as donated thousands of
dollars of items and gift cards to deserving families and the NICU at
Arkansas Children’s Hospital.
